The Transfiguration of Jesus Christ

This is a doctoral dissertation submitted originally in Greek to the University of Athens, School of Theology, successfully defended and then published by Apostoliki Diaconia. More recently it was translated into English and published by Newfound Publishing 2019. This book examines the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ in two main parts: a) the history of its many interpretations through various points of view, and b) the more specific examination of the New Testament sources and their interpretation in the Orthodox Christian theological tradition.
